No account registration or advertising pixels are included. Our hosting provider, Hostinger, processes ordinary server request information to deliver and protect this site.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is used only after you choose “Accept analytics”. Until then, or if you reject, we do not load the Google measurement code or send analytics events. Rejecting does not restrict access to stories. We also respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.
With your permission, Google receives visit and page-view information, browser/device information, a cookie-generated identifier and connection information. Google derives approximate location from the connection and says it does not log or store IP addresses in Analytics. We send page paths without query strings or fragments and reduce external referrers to their website origin. Do not place personal information in public page paths.
We do not enable advertising personalisation, Google signals, user IDs, form tracking, session recordings or cross-site advertising integrations. Google processes analytics information on its infrastructure; processing may take place outside the UK. See Google’s privacy policy and Analytics privacy information.
Use “Cookie choices” below to change or withdraw permission at any time. We store your choice in this browser for up to 180 days. Analytics cookies are configured to expire after 60 days without rolling renewal. Withdrawing stops measurement on this browser and removes this site’s accessible Analytics cookies; it does not automatically erase information already sent. Contact us if you wish to exercise data rights. Consent is our basis for optional analytics.
Saving stories
Choosing “Save for later” stores story identifiers in your browser’s local storage. Those saved identifiers are not sent to us. They remain on that browser until you remove them or clear your site data.
Photographs
Approved article images load directly from the original publisher’s image servers, not from files stored on this website. Your browser makes a request to that provider, which receives ordinary connection information such as your IP address. We send no page referrer with the image request. External providers apply their own privacy policies. Images that fail to load are omitted.

Original-source and licence links take you to other websites. Those websites apply their own privacy policies. No email subscription or external notification service is active in this edition.
Contact and your rights
Privacy enquiries, requests to access or erase information, and objections can be sent to info@englandtoday.co.uk. The contact link opens your email application; there is no web contact form. Email is handled by the sender’s and recipient’s providers and is not anonymous. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information. Publisher person/company details and the full correspondence retention policy have not yet been supplied; we do not claim those reviews are complete.
