The modern edition
Article headlines, reading text and controls below the masthead use Inter, by The Inter Project Authors. The unmodified variable font is licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Read its complete copyright notice and licence.
A small part of the printed tradition
The masthead’s side notes retain IM FELL English by Igino Marini, licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. It is no longer the article headline or reading font. The regular and italic files are unmodified. Read the copyright notice and licence.
Original-source images
Images are bound to the specific article where they originally appear. Each must have its own reviewed reuse declaration and a recent matching source check. We do not fill unrelated stories with recurring stock photographs. If image rights are missing, conflicting or unclear, the story appears without an image. Publisher illustrations remain labelled as illustrations, not photographs of a new event. Available creator and individual licence credits are retained; an article’s text licence does not automatically cover its photograph. Images load directly from the reviewed original-publisher URLs, without cropping or recolouring, and retain their stated licences. No image copies are stored with this website.
